The movie was freakin great! Fast paced and never a dragging moment.
although it wasn’t exactly depicted “literaly” from the book, like the character of Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer) who is supposed to be tan. There were tweaks and little of alteration on some scenes but somehow Ron Howard pulled it off.
Ewan Mcgregor did an awesome job as Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca. For Tom Hanks… he is Tom Hanks!

Holly Week indeed…
It’s a Holy Catastrophe Week for me! The whole family stayed at my place in QC for the holidays. Man, the TV was non stop and the AC was ON for 3 straight days… I’m now anticipating a large sum of bill from Meralco. It wasn’t so bad after-all, since we often go out for meals, but unfortunately my family is a buffet enthusiast, which I hated since I started taking my workout to the next level. I was so depressed last Saturday because of some issues that I REALLY couldn’t get to manage… 1. There’s my dad hogging MY TV 2. My mom’s always on the nag 3. The 2 ACs are on full swing 4. The girlfriend was out of town (and on emotional kaput, seriously. Hehehehe) 5. My maid asked for a 3-day off so the place was all stinky and my gym clothes are still in the chute (what a BRAT hahaha) and 6. All banks are closed and my ATM card was torn into 3 and so… I was BROKE! Come Sunday, we went out for lunch and I get to choose where hehehe… so we ate at Shakey’s, their salad and chicken was fantastic! After eating they decided to vacate my place…(hallelujah hymn)… There was I watching DVDs, playing NBA 2k9 ALONE! The girlfriend arrived from Davao and she’s now less than 15 kilometers away from me, then my mom called and asked me if I can join them to Bora this next long weekend. I’m still assessing if it’s going to be fun or not… well, its Bora though. Today I just got my new ATM card and convert it to a Debit Card and secured myself with enough cash. I’ll be playing basketball with my officemates later tonight since I haven’t played since last year. And oh! TVM and I played TOP CHEF together over the phone and it was FUN! Hahahahaha Carpe Diem!
